Welding technology

ProTechnik GmbH specialises in the processing and welding of demanding special materials. We rely on in-depth knowledge, extensive experience and state-of-the-art technology. Our welders regularly undergo theoretical and practical refresher tests, which are carried out in accordance with AD 2000 Merkblatt HP0, DIN EN ISO 9606 and – under construction site conditions – DVGW worksheet GW 350. These tests guarantee the quality and reliability of our welded joints, which are used in various industries and under extreme conditions. In addition, our welders have ASME welding certificates, which are required for work in accordance with American standards.

Our portfolio not only includes classic welding processes such as E-Hand (electrode), MAG (metal active gas), MIG (metal inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas), but also the use of automatic welders and orbital welders, which are crucial for high-precision pipe welding in industry. We place particular emphasis on the continuous education and practical training of our employees. Every welder must undergo a rigorous qualification test, in which they are approved for use on construction sites after successfully completing X-ray tests, notch impact tests and, if necessary, hardness tests (for special materials). This process contributes to our consistently low error rate and ensures the high quality of our work – a clear advantage over our competitors.

In addition to classic pipe and boiler steels, we also weld high-alloy special materials and their mixed compounds made of ferritic, martensitic and austenitic steels in the field of heat-resistant and high-strength materials. The processing of aluminium and titanium rounds off our welding technology services. We offer tailor-made solutions for a wide range of industries, from the energy industry to aerospace.
